Coronavirus: B.C. introduces new group size limits in short-term vacation rentals
British Columbia’s provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry on Monday July 27th, announced that she had amended a provincial health order to address short-term vacation rentals. The number of people will be limited to the capacity of the space, plus up to a maximum of five visitors at any one time, in order to stem the spread of COVID-19.
The safety of our renters is of the utmost importance to us, and we're closely monitoring official guidelines from local government and health authorities regarding the current outbreak of the unprecedented coronavirus, known as COVID-19. We do not take this lightly and want to give you the information you need so that you can decide the best option for you and your family.
Every precaution is being taken to keep all cabin surfaces, utensils and amenities sanitized and disinfected before and after each renter. We use Nature’s bleach on door knobs, light switches and other high touch areas and soap and water for other areas as per BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC).
In an effort to protect our renters from stay to stay, we are asking that you bring your own towels and bedding including pillows, blankets or sleeping bags. This is for your protection and peace of mind.
To offset the inconvenience of bringing your bedding and towels, we are lowering the daily rental rate by $50 per night and $350 on a weekly rental until further notice.
A Protective Mattress will be on each bed and will be laundered between each rental stay. These covers are Hypoallergenic, waterproof and breathable. They protect against fluids, dust mites, and bacteria. See more information about the mattress protectors Click Here.
Toilet paper, paper towels, coffee filters, dish soap, and hand soap, and hand sanitizers etc. will be provided.
The cabin provides a safe distance and privacy from others and neighbours.
If you or your guests do get sick or with the COVID-19 virus, we do ask that you stay home, and we will give you a full refund or a credit towards your next stay with us.
Any Changes or current information will be sent to you along with your final invoice.
